Wish You Were Here {fwf}

It's nearly Spring and soon it will be bunny rabbit season.
I was inspired by a few ladies who used this stamp
last week for FwF and had to get mine out.
{Thanks Sheryl K and Dawn F}
I used the very last bits of a My Mind's Eye Paper pack, EVEN the cover!
How's that for frugal  clever?
Copic Ink was my choice to color this widdle wabbit.
The stamp is a Unity Stamp Company Itty Bitty it's called
The ribbons were also bits of pieces that I was saving for some crazy reason
and I kinda like how they blended with this paper.
The make a wish brad is Basic Grey.
That's it for me today.
I'm sharing this over on the Unity Blog for Friends with Flair.
Enough gabbing...
Have a great weekend!!

Silly Girl Wine Tag {SS}

Silly girl there's no such thing as too much wine!
Today I'm up on the Sweet Stamps challenge blog with my fun bottle tag.

I used a standard shipping tag and distressed the edges first.
Then I stamped the wine glass and bottle images in different colors.
Attached some sequins and shimmer and a pretty crinkle ribbon.
My vision was for a festive design.
Hopefully I got my point across.
My tag also fits in with this week's challenge at Sweet Stamps.
*Anything but a Card* and I certainly hope you will share your projects with us!

Thanks for stopping by today...Cheers!

Sweet Stamps Supplies included in this design:

Other than Sweet Stamps:
Crinkle Ribbon : 3GirlJAM Coral Crush
Stones : Darice
Sequins : Creatology

Altered Art

I just wanted to take a quick minute to share a project today.
Over the past few years I've altered and added embellishments to empty  bottles.
No... I don't do whiskey (I'm a wine or beer gal)
...but my hubby loves a nice glass of Balvenie now and again.
I really like the shape of this particular bottle and think that items like
this can be nice little conversation pieces.
I added burlap, ribbons, florals and charms and even a few stick pins.
The larger pin is a custom piece by my friend Ana Garcia.
 That big chunky bow is probably my second favorite part of the piece...
I scored it on the clearance rack at StampinUp for less than 2 bucks!
The photo below shows where I've
tied ribbon through an eyelet to keep track of the pretty embellished topper.
The crinkle ribbon is from the 3 Girl JAM Celebrations Bundle.

 My mostest favoritest part of this piece is the sentiment.
Isn't that great advice?
That's all I have for today.
Have a beautiful day today!

Single Flower Miracle {fwf}

Happy Friday...already...FRIDAY? Serious?
We had a long weekend here and my hubby was home for
an extra day due to ice and bad weather so my week has flown by.
I'm not mad at it one bit though...c'mon weekend.
Thursday came with some quiet time so I was able to work on a few cards.
This is one that really made me smile.
I didn't want to put the pretty lace edge on top of a solid base so
I just made a hidden flip up backing so there is space for writing a note
and it also stands up pretty nicely for displaying too.

The sentiment is stamped onto a clear paper using Staz On and after it dried
I swiped the back with the same yellow Copic that I used to fill in the flowers.
The photo doesn't show the detail of the sentiment very well so I lifted it up
to allow you to see what I mean.

The stamp set is called Single Flower Miracle it's Unity by Angie Blom
Papers are My Mind's Eye
Inks: StazOn, Memento, Copic
Dies are Spellbinders
Crinkle Ribbon is by 3GirlJAM

Hope you have a fantastic weekend!

The Long Run

I'm not a runner.
I have tried.
My knee won't allow it...so I walk.
(60-80 miles per month)
I know people who run, see them every day...and I admire them so much.
I also admire people who hang in there..."for the long run" in life.
This card is a little "thank you" to those who have been there for me!
Hope it makes you smile.

I'm sharing this card in the Unity Be Inspired Challenge.

The inks are Copic and Memento
The papers are DCWV

So Sassy {tt}

Hello again!

Today begins a new challenge over at
this week our sponsor is
and I'm using Handy Sassy for our theme this week which is Metal.
I added that fun metallic "sassy" charm which fit perfectly with our theme and
our sponsor as well.
 I added crystal effects to her hat, tools and boots for some shine.
Colored her with Copic Pen and a bit of shimmer.
Added a few liquid enamel dots for more color and she's all set.
I think this gal is up for just about any challenge, don't you?

Stop by Tuesday Throwdown blog and check out the DT creations
 using Sassy Studio Designs.
You have the rest of the week to join us!
Have a sassy day.

Enjoy the Moment {ss}

I'm on the Sweet Stamps Challenge blog today
with a fun, silly note card.
The theme this week is Happy Birthday.
Ever feel like a fish swimming up stream when it comes to counting birthdays?!
I had to have the By The Sea Accents as soon as I spotted those in the shop.
I love this fish...so vicious and so FUN.
I think a note card like this is sure to make someone smile on their
birthday...or any day!
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the
newest challenge for your chance to win some Sweet Stamps moola!

Blank Note Card {SS}

Hello Tuesday visitors!
I'm sharing my blank butterfly note card today that I created with
using several  products from Sweet Stamps.
My card is on the Sweet Stamps challenge blog  today and I really
encourage you to join in this week.
I really think that challenges can give you a much needed creative boost when/if you fall into
a crafting funk.
So put together something
Pink, White and one other Color and share away!
I was quite pleased with the way my background turned out when using
the rounded squares stencil with the soft Spun Sugar ink
....and those silvery butterflies are so pretty in person.
I wish my lighting had been better for this photo but you get the idea.
Have a great day today!

ALL things

Loving this gentle reminder.
"Let ALL things"...
I found this free downloadable scripture sentiment at
and wanted to use it right away.
I really like how the DCWV papers look with the theme
I was trying to achieve.
I kinda like that little burlap flower too.
I hope this card makes you smile today.

Follow You

This is one of my last Valentine's for the year.
I have created several this year, more than usual for some reason.
But it's nice to share the love, right?
I added some doodling and gems to this design
and covered up my crooked sentiment with a raised up pennant.
Gotta love it when you make a boo boo toward the end of a design.
I used one of my trusty old kraft file folders for the base of this 4x4" card.
Added some My Mind's Eye designer paper.
The inks are Copic and Memento
and that cute stamp is an Angie Blom designed for Unity Stamp Company.
The doodle lines are with a black Sharpie.
Do you have your Valentines in the mail yet?
If not...you better get busy.
Have a happy weekend!
