Thinking of You {SS}

It's all about the Food and Drinks this week at Sweet Stamps.
Many of us seem to over indulge this time of year, but
a new year is almost here so why not take the rest of the week to enjoy?!
You can get serious in just a few days as we hit 2015....right?
I created a yummy thinking of you card for a special birthday girl.
The French Oval Frame highlights the sweet cake just right. I snipped the oval
half and saved the other side for a future project....thrifty, eh?!
Rather than use a Happy Birthday sentiment I chose the fun
I hope you enjoyed my calorie free card today.
Be sure to share your food and/or drink creations with us...you have all week!
I hope you have a happy, healthy New Year!

Holiday Gratitude {3GJ}

Happy Saturday after Christmas!
Today is my day to post on the 3GirlJAM blog!
You may not want to see anything Red, Green or Christmas right now, but I had to share
this fun holiday thank you card I created for our dog groomer.
She's a wonderful person and so sweet to our little Teddy.
I used Lemon-Lime from the LG bundle to make that big bow.
Here is our little man...I edited his hat on because he refused
to sit still with a real one on.  Can you tell he's kinda mad at me?!

There are just a few more days to link up your Thank You/ Gratitude projects.
And...there is also a DESIGN TEAM CALL going on at 3GirlJAM for a few more days!

Thanks for letting me share today.
And thank you for a great year with 3GirlJAM.
As I say so long to my DT position I would like to thank Julie for her wonderful support!
I have enjoyed the products so much, but even more so...the friendships I've made.

Wishing you all a happy and blessed 2015!

~Donna K

Just Because {SS}

Today is my day to post on the
Sweet Stamps Challenge Blog
This week we were challenged to create
Anything But a Card
How fun, right?
I mean....if you're like me you need a card break now and again.
So I created this very simple pillow box.
It has a wonderful vintage vibe and would be a perfect little just because gift.
I love how the Real Rust EP looks with the ivory paper and white lace.
I hope you'll join our latest challenge and share your other than a card creations with us.
I won't be posting again until after Christmas so I'd like to take this
opportunity to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas!
Thank you for your encouragement and support throughout the year.

Happy Winter {SS}

Hello and Happy Winter!
I know it's not "officially" winter....yet...but..
It is very cold and snowy in many parts of the country so
I wanted to share my pretty winter card with you.
The challenge at Sweet Stamps this week is
Non Traditional Christmas Colors
I was going for that theme when I started thinking that...
is there such a thing any more?
I can't really answer that because I love all the colors of the season.
The blog world is full of so many beautiful colorful designs that it is
all just wonderful to me!
I hope you have a fantastic day today and I also hop that you'll
scoot on over to the Sweet Stamps Challenge Blog to join our challenge this week.

Peace On Earth

I have been trying my best to use some of the supplies and products
that have been waiting patiently to be opened over the past few years.
Isn't it sad to think that a person (that person being ME)
sees something and HAS to have it...
only to let it sit.  Tsk, tsk...
SO...I've been trying to break that habit and get out those goodies and put them to good use.
This beautiful stamp set from Skipping Stones Design was one of those
unopened treasures.  Sorry, there is no name on the packaging.
I love the sentiment as well but couldn't find a way to use it on the front of the card.
I hope you enjoy my card as much as I enjoyed opening this lovely stamp set!
Have a beautiful day today and use up some of your goodies that you've been "saving"
you'll be surprised at how great you feel afterward!

Happy Christmas sentiment.
I thought this was a really fun gift idea for someone who loves the snow.
For my note card I used Nassau Blue shades ink spots
and the Aztec Sun ATC stencil for the background.

I fussy cut the image and added Marvy Snow pen and Glossy accent for texture.
There is actually lots of glitter throughout these designs
from my Wink of Stella but it isn't showing well in my photos, sorry.
I hope you enjoy how I've used these digis.
It's almost time to pop these in the mail!
