Happy Christmas {SS}

Today I'm on the Sweet Stamps Challenge Blog
sharing with you an easy design
using the bordered sentiments technique.
I covered the sentiment area with a piece of painter's tape.
The stencil I used is called Stone Path.
I used distressed ink to shade the background.
One of my pennant die cut pieces served as my tree "template."
I used Glastique to adhere my buttons
and I topped off my little tree with a sweet bow from the
That's it for me today...

Fa La La

I have been trying my very best to use some of my supplies that I
have been "saving" for so long.
So...instead of purchasing a house warming gift I pulled out some of my
chipboard pennants, some paint, paper, burlap
and canvas to create this fun holiday banner.
This came together quite quickly for me once I decided on the colors.
I love the combination of fabrics, paints and doilies.
Now...if I can just KEEP using my supplies up and staying busy
with products I have on hand...yeah, right!
Thanks for letting me share my Fa La La with you today.
I hope your day is fabulous!

A Christmas Decoration Make Over

Can you believe the weekend is over!?!
It really IS Monday!
My projects today are featured on the blog at 3GirlJAM
I had this "big idea" to redo some of my older
Christmas decorations.  Little did I know it would be so much fun.
 For many years we have purchased ornaments for our nieces and nephews.
This year I wanted to make them.
And I'm so glad I did.
I used blocks that formerly spelled "Merry Christmas" to create
monogram ornaments.
 I added papers, a layer of decoupage, some bling and a few trinkets...
and of course some wonderful 3GirlJAM crinkle ribbon.
So my plain 'ole blocks...turned into treasures.
Be sure to join our challenge this month!!
AND...check out the new release

White Lace and Merlot {3GJ}

Today is my day to post on the 3GirlJAM blog.
This is a project I have really been looking forward to sharing.
I've had these plain black boxes in my "stash" for several years.
So I've decided that it's about time I put them to good use!
This box is just the right size to hold standard A2 size greetings.
There is always a need for notes at holiday time so I thought
they would make the perfect addition.
I used ribbon from the Simply White Lace bundle at 3GirlJAM.
I like how the cards peek out of the opening on the front of the box
This will make a fun hostess or teacher gift this holiday season.
You can pick up your 3GirlJAM products at 10% off.

Give Thanks {SS}

Yay....It's Tuesday and I'm up on the challenge blog at
This week our challenge is
I chose several ways to incorporate stripes into my Give Thanks card.
The background paper as you can obviously see is stripes...
those amazing LEAVES from the new release also have some stripes in their design.
The Give Thanks sentiment is also from one of the new release stamp sets
called Fall Owls.
I fussy cut the leaves, colored them with Copic pen, added Glastique gloss to various
pieces and popped some of them up over the floss with 3D adhesive.

Thanks for peeking in on me today and be sure to join us at Sweet Stamps!

December 25th {3GJ}

Have you recovered from the Halloween sugar over load yet?!
Our new challenge at 3GirlJAM might get you going in another direction.
We aren't playing Christmas music just yet but we are having a
and it starts today!

Several weeks ago I got on a kick to use up some of my 6X6 paper pads.
I created this really special paper bag album and wanted to use every single
piece of paper in that pad so to finish it off I
created this Christmas card.
It's layered and the edges are tattered and you'll see TWO types of ribbon from
3GirlJAM. White Lace and Tuxedo.

I even decorated the inside. Not a single scrap left.
Keep an eye out for the album on another post.
Be sure to join us for the Christmas with Ribbon Challenge.
There is plenty of inspiration on the blog and plenty of time to link up.
And if you are in the shopping mood there is a code which will
provide you with a 10% discount. Just use DB10 at the check out.
Last thing...have a GREAT weekend!
