I like that the 3GirlJAM challenge gave us the option of
A craft file folder is the base for this fun card.  I bound it using eyelets and Holly Berry crinkle ribbon and I've included more 3GirlJAM with the natural Jute Ribbon under my polka dot brad.
I love this *Paige* stamp and thought that she was perfect for the writing part of the challenge.
The inside is lined with more school theme paper and a blank side for your note.

Quick Hello

I'm on this kick about using some file folders that I collected hoarded
for various album projects a few years ago that didn't get completed.
I know you've all done that, right?...
Said to yourself...
"OMG I need to buy a bazillion of those
because I have all these great ideas on how I'm gonna use those babies!"
Well I have an entire box of craft file folders and I have found that they make amazing
card bases, probably some of you are going to say...duh...been doing that forEVER.
Well....it just clicked with me.
This card is for a friend who just had surgery..
I know she's going to be good as new very soon.
I thought this would make her smile.
The stamp is a Unity Stamp Co stamp called
I share lots of my Unity projects on the Show and Tell Facebook page.
Those friends are THE most supportive and fun group to share with.
My cool water mark is also by Lisa Arana...
Just incase you wanted to know.
Hope you create something AMAZING today.

a beautiful thing

I've had this tiny canvas for quite some time and my initial thought was that I wanted
to make a magnet out of it for a small gift.
Several weeks ago I added molding paste and painted this
sweet canvas and it just sat there...and sat there....ever do that?!
Then I came across a reminder on the Mixed Media Monthly Challenge Blog that
there were only a few days left  to enter their Stencils and pastes challenge.
So that sparked me to finish my little project.
I think it's going to make the perfect little thinking of you gift.
The canvas is 3"x3" and my supplies are pictured below.
Thanks for letting me share..
Hope your day is BEAUTIFUL!

Frank stole my Heart

Happy Tuesday!
It's always a fun day when the new challenge begins at
This week the theme is
Masculine Birthday
To be honest...I wasn't thrilled with this the theme this week.
My husband's birthday has passed and my dad isn't with us any more.
So..... I wasn't looking forward to a masculine card.
That's the cool thing about being "challenged" though...
inside sentiment
I actually LOVE this card!
Frank stole my heart.
I think this is one of my favorite masculine birthday cards ever.
He's handsome, don't you agree?!
We might just have to save him for my father-in-law this winter.
Thanks for peeking in on ME...now go peek in on the other DT
creations on the Sweet Stamps Challenge Blog.
Don't forget you have one week to link up for your chance to win.
Have a great day today.

Back to School with 3GirlJAM

It's 3GirlJAM day for me
and today I'm on the Design Team Blog sharing my
"Back to school" note pad holder.
I love the vintage style paper with the Tuxedo crinkle ribbon.
I added a few staples to hold that ribbon snugly in place.
Once that post it pad is used up, just pop in another.
This ribbon looks great when tied up time and again.
