Wedding Wishes

These wedding cards have been waiting patiently to be posted.  It has been a crazy time at my house, but I have been creating...promise!   I hope you enjoy these cards as much as I enjoyed making them.  I think they turned out with just the right amount of elegance and softness, just perfect for the bride and groom.

I used craft card stock, distressed the edges for the shabby, vintage look.  The polka dot background is hand stamped as well as the lovely dress.  I added 3 rhinestones to the dress at the waist.
The top of the card is adorned with a crinkle ribbon threaded through two eyelets and tied up in a sweet bow.  The inside of this particular card is lined in white and left blank for your personal message.

The "Bridesmaid" card is created with the same format.  How sweet would these be in just about any color?!

These cards are available for purchase if you'd like to custom order, just drop me an email.

Trick or Treat Goodies

This was TOTALLY not my idea, but I loved it and wanted to share.

There are so many different ways to use file folders, yep, plain ole manilla file folders.  Try *googling* "file folder crafts" and you'll be amazed at the stuff out there.  I've got a list of things I want to do with that box of folders that has been sitting in the drawer.  Don't ask me why I thought I needed 100 of these things 5 years ago!

These will make GREAT goodies for the little goblins in my family and they are so inexpensive to make.

Happy Fall Ya'll!!!

Sponsoring something Pink

I was asked to sponsor a gift for an upcoming birthday give away.  This is the first time I've been asked to participate in a give-away like this one...how fun.  Check out Kels' blog HERE and leave her some love to have a chance to win one of 14 prizes.

Here's what I donated...

So, Get on over to "A Ray of Sunshine" and enter to win...don't forget to tell your friends!

Have a GREAT day today!

Halloween Tags

It's hard for me to believe that we are already into September.  The summer has flown by for me.  Even though summer is my FAVORITE season I have to admit I'm ready for things to cool down in Eastern, NC.  We cleaned up from hurricane Irene, but there are still lots of remnants around town to remind us of the strength of a Category One Storm.

Along with the fall comes Halloween!  I remember LOVING this holiday as a kid.  Still not sure why I liked to be scared, but for some reason I did!  As an adult, not so much.

Tags are one of my favorite things to create.  They are fun, and can be as elaborate or as simple as you like and still add a wonderful touch of flair to any gift.  These three tags were created with a set that my sweet husband picked up at a shop in Greensboro.  Hope you are ready for your ghouls and goblins this year?  Thanks for stopping by today!
